My good friend CW got married tonight and we attended her wedding at 5 then the dinner and reception followed. So we actually did not start out on our adventure until after 9:00pm tonight. Michael assumed all driving responsibilities. We headed down 1-35 until just outside of Oklahoma City ( maybe 1:00am) and bunked for night in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn Express .
It’s here Family Road Trip Vacation 2012! Here’s the plan leave July 21st, 2012 and hit the open road; first destination: Las Vegas, Nevada. DH has a conference there and we’re going to share his hotel accommodations for the week, then onto the Grand Canyon and any other adventures that crop up along the way. Here is the story from here to there and back again.
